1. About the Platform
Hapn connects people who need tasks completed (“Posters”) with individuals willing to complete those tasks (“Heroes”). Hapn provides the technology platform that facilitates these connections but does not directly perform any tasks.

2. Eligibility
To use Hapn, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
Hapn may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3. User Accounts
Users must create an account to access the Platform. Users agree to:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information
• Keep login credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity on their account
Hapn may suspend or terminate accounts if misuse, fraud, or violations of these Terms occur.

4. Posting Missions
Posters can post tasks (“missions”) that describe the work they need completed. Posters agree that:
• Descriptions must be accurate and lawful
• Tasks must not involve illegal or unsafe activities
• Posters will treat Heroes respectfully
Acceptance of a quote from a Hero creates a binding agreement between the Poster and Hero.

5. Hero Responsibilities
Heroes agree to:
• Perform tasks to a reasonable and professional standard
• Complete tasks within agreed timeframes
• Communicate clearly with Posters
• Maintain any licences or qualifications required for the task
Heroes are responsible for complying with all applicable laws.

6. Escrow Payments
Hapn uses a secure escrow system. Posters must deposit the full agreed task amount into escrow before contact details of the selected Hero are released.
Funds are released to the Hero once the task is completed, less any applicable Hapn service fees. Hapn may assist in resolving disputes and may delay release while a dispute is under review.

7. Fees
Hapn charges service fees for facilitating connections and transactions. Fees are clearly displayed prior to confirming a mission. Hapn may adjust its fee structure at any time.

8. Platform Circumvention
Users must not attempt to bypass the platform to avoid fees or protections. Users agree not to:
• Arrange payments outside Hapn
• Share contact details before escrow is funded
• Complete missions outside Hapn after connecting
Violations may result in account suspension or recovery of service fees.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals
Posters may not initiate chargebacks or reversals unless transactions were unauthorised. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension or permanent termination.

10. Reviews and Ratings
After completing a task, users may leave ratings and reviews. Reviews must:
• Be honest and reflect genuine experience
• Not contain abusive, offensive, or defamatory content
Hapn may remove reviews that violate community standards.

11. Independent Contractor Status
Heroes operate as independent contractors. Hapn is not their employer, partner, or agent.
Heroes are responsible for taxes, licensing, insurance, and how they perform tasks. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship.

12. Insurance and Risk
Users acknowledge that tasks may involve physical services or work on property. Posters and Heroes are responsible for safety and legality. Hapn is not liable for injuries, damages, losses, or disputes arising from tasks.

13. Fraud and Platform Protection
Hapn monitors for fraudulent or unsafe activity and may:
• Investigate suspicious behaviour
• Remove missions or content
• Freeze transactions
• Suspend or terminate accounts
These measures maintain platform safety and integrity.

14. Identity Verification
Hapn may require users to verify their identity via:
• Government-issued ID
• Selfie verification
• Additional checks as necessary
Failure to verify may result in restricted access.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.
